Akeet Lyang Homestay was like a home away from home. We stayed there for 2 days, enjoying the scenic beauty from the balcony and roaming around the walkables such as Dow Hill and its locations, Forest Museum, Victoria Girls School and Boys School, the Church, Eco Park etc. Mr. Mikma being the amazing host along with Kakima (Aunty) who all treated us like their own family member with their awesome hospitality, attention and foodings. There is a amazing cafe also called Sips and Nibble where we husband and wife spent a calm and tranquil evening watching the amazing mountains and Kanchenjunga views. Its a must visit homestay and will visit again :)

Our stay at Akeet Lyang Homestay was an absolute delight! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality by the lovely uncle and aunty, who made us feel at home with their kindness and care. The homestay is nestled in a serene forest setting, offering a peaceful escape from the chaos of city life. The food was homely, fresh, and absolutely delicious, adding to the overall warmth of our experience. One of the highlights was the short hiking route through the downhill forest, where we enjoyed the soothing sounds of bird whispers and the crisp mountain air. Walking hand in hand with my husband through the quiet woods was a truly special experience just nature, tranquility, and us. If you're looking for a place to relax, unwind, and spend quality time with your loved ones, Akeet Lyang Homestay is the perfect destination. Aakeet Lyang Homestay is situated in one of the most beautiful and scenic part of Kurseong the view from the rooms are breathtaking!! Loved every part of my stay there. Mikma, Shyam aunty and Dup uncle and little Sozim are such wonderful hosts. They host you like you’re a family member ♥️Mikma showed me some amazing undiscovered places there. The home cooked food served for every meal was so delicious♥️ My room had a very cozy vibe with all amenities. Overall a great place to stay and also affordable. Would recommend 10/10. Shall return soon!
