Our Stay at Aakeet lyang Homestay was a lovely experience. To explore Dowhill area and Chimney, it was a centric point. Will love to visit again.

Akeet Lyang Homestay was like a home away from home. We stayed there for 2 days, enjoying the scenic beauty from the balcony and roaming around the walkables such as Dow Hill and its locations, Forest Museum, Victoria Girls School and Boys School, the Church, Eco Park etc. Mr. Mikma being the amazing host along with Kakima (Aunty) who all treated us like their own family member with their awesome hospitality, attention and foodings. There is a amazing cafe also called Sips and Nibble where we husband and wife spent a calm and tranquil evening watching the amazing mountains and Kanchenjunga views. Its a must visit homestay and will visit again :)

Aakeet Lyang Homestay is situated in one of the most beautiful and scenic part of Kurseong the view from the rooms are breathtaking!! Loved every part of my stay there. Mikma, aunty and uncle are such wonderful hosts. They host you like you’re a family member . You can enjoy evening @Nirvana tea house beside with live music and view also. Mikma is also very good photographer he can accompany also. The home cooked food served for every meal . One of most excellent is the sound of waterfull during rainy season to snooth your ear and deep sleep. Overall a great place to stay and also affordable.
