a month agoWe have stayed in a lot of homestays. This particular homestay is unique in its ambience. This place is quiet. With a stunning view. The owner is very fond of music. Have guitar, ukulele, drums set up to brighten the hilly evenings. Not so far from kalimpong makes this homestay perfect for kalimpong local sight seeing as well. Or you can just sit, relax and enjoy the company of mountains and views of tista river. There is a beautiful monastery and view point lying nearby to this homestay. There are two cute doggos named lucy and Pablo to be always with you. This homestay will also never leave your memory. Great experience.

4 months agoWe spent a day and stayed over for the night at this homestay, and it was one of our best experiences of homestays on the hills. Perfect location (we did sight the Kanchanjungha early morning - a rarity on the threshold of monsoon), specious room and squeaky clean washroom - of course certain small details can definitely be improved (which the ever affable owner Rajeev promised to pay attention to). However, food prepared by Rahul and his caring presence would far outshine if anything is a little amiss. This chap is a real good soul with talent - it is wonderful to discover that there can indeed be rare gems even among the gen-z. People like Rajeev, Rahul, and Anil will probably make your stay something you won't forget easily - it created hope (which I have lost steadily) in an otherwise disillusioned old haggard like me, about the healing goodness of humankind around us.

6 months agoVery good experience at wanderlust farmstay at fikkalay Gaon. I visited with my family on 12 april 2025. The natural beauty surrounding the farmstay is unique the rooms are cozy and spacious, bathrooms are hygenic, food quality is top notch with perfection. The host rajiv also is a gentleman and serves his guest with utmost care and attention. He plays good drums and sings well. More power to his start up venture which is just 6 months old.
