What an experience to be here at this homestay when in Kurseong. It is located at a distance of about 3kms from the Kurseong market. The homestay is beautiful, located in nature's lap, and offers a beautiful view of Kunchenjunga. The rooms are great, the staff is hospitable and the food is awesome. The owner is a very well-behaved man, who has maintained a truly homely culture at this homestay. Rupesh ji is a great manager and the didi who takes care of the food is amazing. Overall a well spent vacation, highly recommended. Good luck to the owner and I look forward to coming back to this place whenever I intend to visit Kurseong 🌼✌️

This homestay, located very close to Chimni village, is very beautiful. The homestay is surrounded by pine forests. The homestay attendant is very good. The sister who cooks in this homestay, her behaviour and cooking are both beautiful. I always felt like this house located on the hill is my own. The homestay has four rooms. Two of them have attached bathrooms, but the other two do not have attached bathrooms, but the rooms have their own bathrooms outside the rooms. Each room is quite large and clean.

Staying at WOH was a mixed experience. Location is fantastic. In between pine forests and open view towards Kanchenjunga on a clear day, this homestay has a perfect combination to be a better option than what it is now. Why / How you may ask? 1. As excellent as the view, the food options are not that great. Limited options are understandable, but artificial scarcity is not acceptable. We had been in a group of 14 bikers and we were served food for 12 people and told to adjust. Even after they knew specifically we had booked for 14 heads. 2. We bangalis like to have spicy food and to have such a home like delicacy at 5000ft can be challenging. We get it. But the ghugni, egg curry and chicken we got served are like light bland stew. I mean Kurseong market is not that far and spice rates aren't that high. A basic consistent curry is a bare minimum expectation. Food quantity is another let down. You cannot expect everyone of your 14 guests to eat 2 rotis and 100 gms of rice. Food habits and consumption limits are personal and your comments on such are not a very welcoming attitude. 3. Host behaviour is nothing to complain about. Mostly well coordinated and polite. 4. Has ample parking. 5. Safe and secure. No ghosts found (Considering a dowhill location)
