a month agoHad a lovely, homely stay for 2 nights at Wangchuk Ji’s Homestay. We stayed on the top floor, which offered a clear and breathtaking view of Kanchenjunga. The garden is spacious and beautifully maintained, and the food was absolutely awesome. The hospitality was warm and welcoming throughout our stay, which made the experience even more special. Anyone wanting a calm, peaceful stay away from the hustle and city noise should definitely choose this place. It’s serene, soothing, and perfect to unwind.

2 months agoMy stay here felt like stepping into a dream — a paradise wrapped in lush green forests and framed by majestic mountains. The moment I arrived, I could feel nature embracing me from all sides. The rooms are cozy, spotlessly clean, and perfectly positioned to offer uninterrupted views of the valley and mountains. Honestly, you don’t even have to step outside to feel close to nature — the scenery follows you everywhere. The air feels unbelievably pure, the silence is soothing, and the overall ambience promotes peace and relaxation. Whether you want to reset your mind, enjoy some quiet time, or simply soak in natural beauty, this place offers the perfect escape. For nature lovers, mountain admirers, or anyone seeking a peaceful retreat, this resort is nothing short of heaven specially Wangchuk bhai and bhabi and their staffs are so good and very co-operative and another thing they have a beautiful Nursery, my most favourite place in his homestay. I was roaming here and there whole day in his Nursery. I have buy two special and rare species succulents from him which is very very reasonable from Kolkata market. I would absolutely recommend it — a genuinely soul-refreshing experience. If you ask me, when I will go Kurseong i will definitely stay at EDEN LA HOMESTAY BY WANGCHUK BHAI.

4 months ago⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It was a great pleasure to be a part of Eden La Family. Eden La Homestay truly feels like a home away from home. You have to walked a little bit from the main road but hospitality was amazing. From the moment we arrived, every little detail was taken care of with impeccable attention. The food provided was delicious with variety of foods. The rooms were impeccably clean, warm, and inviting, providing a cozy retreat after a day of exploring. The views of the mountains and dense forest were breathtaking, you Can enjoy Kanchanjangha inside the Room also. The hosts were incredibly caring, making us feel welcomed and valued throughout our stay. Highly recommended for an unforgettable experience!

7 months agoVery beautiful location and view from the room. Yes, you will need to walk a bit from the main road towards the steep interior to reach the place and carrying luggage can be a difficultly. But if you are in good shape you might enjoy that experience. Rooms were spacious with amazing views. If you want a spacious bathroom, try the garden adjacent room. Since it is a homestay, you cannot expect to have huge attached bathrooms like you have in hotels. Keep your expectations in check. The hosts have been amazing with us. We chatted so much about so many things. They catered to all our needs and requirements. They even changed our room from the top floor to the garden one of their own accord because we had noisy and unthoughtful fellow tourists in our next room. It was a very kind gesture on their part. I liked their food, and cooking. They tried to give us variety as best as they could. We had momos, alu tikki fry, pakoras. We were given tea more than once in the morning or evening because we felt like it. They were happy to provide us with what we desired. The helping staff are very good and efficient and very very polite. The owner Bhabiji is very very skilled and patient and loving, always attentive to the guests. And the owner Bhaiya was never without a broad and warm smile. He keeps a beautiful nursery which he was kind enough to show us around. His garden is breathtaking both in the morning and the night. He and his wife were just darlings. We bonded instantly. It was hard to say goodbye. Given that you know what to expect from a homestay, you are not a thoroughly complaining type, you have well behaved fellow travellers and tourists and you are physically fit to walk in steep hilly areas, this place will be a memory to cherish from the beautiful town of Kurseong. They even made us a beautiful collage of photos as a parting gift with a beautiful nepali song in the background. We highly recommend this place.
