Excellent hospitality, Owner is friendly & a good person. If you feel any problem just tell him problem will be solved very quickly. Fooding is too good. They try to serve you what you want. Cottage is awesome.

We actually intended to visit Beltar Resort, but mistakenly booked this homestay instead. The location is not good. The view is mostly blocked by trees. The beltar resort (beside this homestay) is excellent. Food is pathetic. The first homestay where I found the food to be below average. Taps in the bathroom have very weak water pressure. I would strongly recommend people to visit the beltar resort instead of the homestay.

It was another of our unplanned trips. To be precise the 4th unplanned trip where we decided where to go only after covering almost half of the journey. We were 4 friends travelling together. But it turned out again to be one of the best experiences ever. This property is well developed and very cosy and comfortable and super clean. The owner and the staff are very down to earth and they know the word hospitality. We were served warm delicious food and with warm water. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The locals are also very friendly and they welcome you with a warm smile. Beltar is a village where there are 60-70 houses and is situated almost in the valley in between 4 mountains. To reach here you need to drive till TUNG on the Kurseong Highway and then from TUNG there is a very steep and dangerous downhill drive where you have to drive down 4 km to reach the BELTAR Village. You need to be a very experienced driver to get down and climb back this 4 km journey as it's a bit tricky. The overall experience was awesome and well spent. Looking forward to visiting this place again soon in the future.

The Kurseong Maharani Tea Estate is a historic tea plantation located in Kurseong, Darjeeling district, West Bengal, India. While it appears to no longer be an independent operation but rather an out division of the Margarets Hope Tea Estate, it still produces high-quality second flush teas known for their delicate flavor. The tea estate is said to have been established over a century ago in 1870, with tea plants reaching an elevation of 1066 to 1358 meters

Nice place, great ambiance, wonderful view , price is also affordable and with good quality food, there's a small shop of owner at the entrance, parking facility available and it is just before the beltar retreat.
