It's located in a unique place where you get see the beautiful Pine forest and a clear view of the incredible Kanchenjunga. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. They provided every amenity to endure the cold winter. The staffs were polite and courteous. They treated us like family. Every meals provided were mouthwatering and served hot. They provide a guided hike through the Pine forest which was a one of a kind experience. If you want spend a peaceful time out of the chaotic city life bustle then this is the place to be.We stayed there for 2 nights and with an everlasting memory.

It's been a very pleasant experience at White Orchid Homestay. The entire staff was very customer friendly and polite in every interaction. The wifi was working really well, kudos for that since we were a pack of 9 and had at least a dozen devices sharing the bandwidth. The parking at the property is also a plus for people wanting to self drive. On a clear day you get a glimpse of Kanchanjunga from rooms facing north. Bathrooms were clean and tidy. Rooms are spacious but north side rooms do not have attached bathrooms, nevertheless, the two bathrooms outside the rooms are seperate and again very clean and has adequate space, geysers were working. Rooms are spacious not at all cramped. Food served was tasty and they kept every request we made, we infact cooked mutton that we bought from Siliguri. I will recommend this homestay anytime to people wanting to explore Dowhill or just spend a couple of peaceful days. Lastly they provide a guided Dowhill hike we enjoyed that too.

Went there with our school friends ... it is one of the few properties in Kurseong from where you get clear view of Kanchenzonga. Loved Phincho's (owner) approach, to the point and clarifying before what is included and what is not. Providing us with guidelines how to reach. Ample parking space for multiple vehicles. Rooms were clean with all the basic facilities. 2 rooms has attached bath and rest 2 rooms has detached but dedicated bathroom (just like our own house). Dipen and his partner is a champ, always serving with a smile. Ideal place for a group stay. Will surely go back again, sometime ...

Our stay at this homestay was simply amazing. The hosts treated us like their own family, the rooms were spotless, and the food was freshly prepared every day. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. A perfect place for anyone looking for peace and comfort! Highly recommended

Recently stayed in this homestay for couple of nights with family and friends. Had a very nice experience, the location, the cleanliness, the service, the food were excellent. Wonderful view of the sleeping Buddha accompained by very scenic surroundings. Very strong wifi, really helped.
